KRISTIN'S BIO: A Psychic Tarot Reader & Certified Tarot Master and Instructor ~
``When I was a very young child, an inexplicable event took place not far from my home. My father, was working on a Gulf Oil crew. On his way home he and his co-workers witnessed a large light skimming across the horizon in front of them. Shocked and puzzled they watched it for a moment as it quickly slipped out of sight. He only mentioned it briefly to me forty years later and just laughed at himself as if it were nothing. That place was Rozwell, New Mexico,1947. It was around this time that I started having nightly "flying dreams". In my waking life, events unfolded with an eerie sense that they were fated. Unlike my friends' lives, mine was always somewhat off-center, correction! a lot off center. It didn't worry me because I knew that my grandmother, mother and I all possessed high levels of intuition. It was a joy to have lived and worked for many years in the San Francisco Bay Area in the computer corporate arena. Most of my off time I was like a kid in a metaphysical candy store. Tarot is one of the doors that I opened, or should I say, it opened for me. Since that time, I have been deeply involved in volunteer readings, writing and also mentoring for the Free Tarot Network. I have taught Tarot to beginners at vo-tech colleges and now at my own Tarot and Art Cafe' both online and in my studio. Even after all these years of reading and teaching the Tarot, I am still in awe by the guidance or INSPIRATION the cards offer me. It is very humbling. In the book by Joe Vitalli- "Zero Limits"- much is said about the gift of inspiration and how it helps us with our daily lives. I am a channel who has a great respect for the oracle wisdom of the Tarot. I honour Tarot and work within it. It's not magic to me. It's the Universe busy at work sending us wonderful messages. Like Robin Wood once told me in a telephone chat, "it doesn't matter if messages come in to us on bottle caps if they are true and resonate…(we can use them and they might be timely.)" Tarot is definitely more special than bottle caps for me. As a watercolorist I love painting different cards in both arcanas and find ways to bring Tarot into my life on so many levels.
